Phase 1 of Tongqing Communications Factory invested by Z-OBEE Group boasts an investment scale of RMB 120 million, a factory area of 27,000 m2, an annual cellphone production scale of 3 million sets and output value of approx. RMB 1.2 billion after the factory is completed. At the beginning, main businesses include surface mounting and back end assembly, with a personnel scale of about 1,500. Phase 2 investment of Tongqing Communications Factory will expand the area of the factory building to an 80-thousand-square-meter industrial park based on the land currently occupied. Output of its self produced and sold cellphones will be expected to reach 5 million sets. Besides maintaining the original cellphone processing industry in the park, such supporting factories as LCD module production factory, camera module production factory, mold factory, injection molding and spraying factory, cellphone battery processing factory etc. will be set up so as to achieve “one-stop” industrial scale of cellphone within the park. At that time the total output value of the park will reach above RMB 3.0 billion.
